English Students Learn the Art of Persuasive Speaking

Senior Composition students with teacher Tucker Winter just finished giving persuasive speeches on current issues. Some topics included why ultra-processed foods are bad for our bodies, why college athletes should not be paid (and why they should!), why we should change to sustainable aviation fuels, and what we can do to mitigate high incarceration rates for Native youth, among many others.
