8th Graders Studying Gravity and Mass Tandem Style

8th grade science students have been learning about gravity and conducting a variety of labs attempting to either measure its strength or thwart its effects. In honor of Monica's success in her Strongwoman competition last weekend, we calculated: 1) what her deadlift weight would feel like if we transported the equipment to another planet; and, 2) how much actual mass she could lift on those planets. The results?
